Wearing Chambray to Work with a Printed Skirt

Like many others, I am obsessed with chambray. It is such an easy item to grab and throw on with a variety of things in your closet! I probably wear chambray twice per week, but I would wear it every day if I could. Not kidding. It is so comfy and cute! However, it used to just be a part of my casual Friday and weekend attire. I always thought I couldn't wear chambray to work. Recently, I have introduced chambray into my work attire by pairing it with bright colored or printed skirts. In fact, it was this vibrant coral printed pencil skirt from J.Crew Factory that started it all. I seriously bought this skirt in January, and then let it torture me in my closet until it was finally warm enough to wear it! I loved the skirt, but needed to figure out what I would wear with it! Chambray was perfect, and I was so excited to find a way to sneak it into my work wardrobe! I love this combination because it can also be worn more casually with flats for brunch with girlfriends, or you can step it up a notch and wear nude pumps and add a simple, neutral belt. I went for an "in between" look here with the wedges. Check it out below.

Get the Look:
Chambray - J.Crew | Skirt - J.Crew Factory (sold out; similar) | Necklace - J.Crew Factory (sold out) | Wedges - Target | Bracelets - Kate Spade and J.Crew Factory (on sale!) | Ring - Hello Fab | Watch - Marc by Marc Jacobs | Handbag - Kate Spade Spence Convertible Satchel (purchased at a steal from Gilt.com; similar) | Trench - Banana Republic Factory (similar - on sale!)

I am so excited to finally be able to wear this skirt! I am loving printed skirts this season. If you are leery of the trending patterned pants, a printed skirt is a great way to incorporate the pattern trend into your wardrobe. Not sure what to wear with it? Just add chambray! It goes with just about everything.

Are you as obsessed with chambray as I am? How do you like to wear it?
Are you brave enough to wear it to work with a printed skirt?
